03-07-08:
Today was the first day of actual recording for our second album 'March of the Clowns. Yesterday Tommie, Emile and Dave arrived at the Studiobizz studio in Oss. Studiobizz is owned by Peter van Tilburg, and he gave us the possibility to record our new album there. For the second time Tommie took place in the producers chair to make a killer record.
On wednesday Tommie, Peter and Emile set up the drumset, placed the mics and started working on the drumsound we wanted for 'March". Things went pretty quick and by the end of the night everything was set to go.
Back to today. We've had some smooth sailing today as Emile recorded five of the 12/13 tracks. I arrived later that evening and checked out the hard work E had done. We had some 'ghost' guitars and bass running along from our demo so we could get a good feel of the endresult. I must say, the drums sound AMAZING already!
05-07-08:
On the second and third recording day Emile, Peter and Tommie finished up the recording of the drums. Emile wrecked some skins from hard hitting wich caused some delay, but overall we're very satisfied with the endresult.
Now it's back to the Tomster project studio for mixing down the drums and dot the I's on this sucker.
Then it's time to prepare for guitar and bass recordings. And we're finishing up with the vocals. Can't wait!
